Ladies and gents, I will be tackling a new self-improvement oriented project every month. At the end of the month, I will update you on my efforts, how the experiment affected other areas of my life, and whether or not I think each habit is worth maintaining.
It’s December! Spirits are high, bills are high, stress is high: time to breathe deeply and stretch out a few kinks.
Every day in December, I will do a yoga workout. Five minutes of absent-minded stretching won’t count; it has to be yoga, whether from one of the yoga DVDs I’ve been avoiding for months or an online video. A live class would be better; I’m not feeling up to it.
I took a single yoga course in college and have visited only a handful of classes with encouraging friends since then. I have done yoga… … twice in the past three years, so don’t worry; I won’t be posting any of those inspirational “doing yoga in a string bikini on a mountaintop” photos. Not this month, anyway.
Could you use some peace and flexibility, too? Are you interested in doing yoga every day in December? Do you have any yoga advice for beginners? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
