On Simplicity II

Sara, the author behind onsimplicity.net, has been AWOL since October. Perhaps blogging complicated her life. Perhaps she has been cryogenically frozen. Perhaps it’s none of my business, but I wrote to her anyway. Further bulletins as events warrant.

  • Wow! I hope she replies to you sometime soon! I’ve just learned the meaning of AWOL, never heard it before. =* <3

While she’s AWOL I’m gonna improve my shining moments by catching up on the great essays already on her blog.
    Thank you for this <3

It is Spring….time for Spring Cleaning…aka getting rid of more stuff.

  • The words ‘blog’ itself (though a contraction for web log) has a kind of gunky, thick, stuck sound to it; something you might want to thin down, or drain, like a bog, like a swamp, like clutter, because even someone else’s blog can bog up other people’s online interactions as well as your own.
And then, of course, stuff happens.

  • Smiley Woman – Yay, you learned a new term! Now you have to teach me something Spanish.

stitchywitchy I LOVE reading essays, and I LOVE Spring Cleaning. I’ve got to admit, it’s getting better…

jean – I often feel bogged and clogged by blogs… which is why I abandoned my previous two, and sadly neglect this one.

I’m mostly surprised that she left such a SUCCESSFUL blog without a goodbye post of some kind; she has almost 5,000 subscribers. I have 8.
