I know Monkey Island!

I’m lousy at command-prompted games. I tried Zork, only got about sixty seconds in before I tore out all my hair and screamed like a banshee.

Oh… you have NOT LIVED until you played the old Monkey Island or King’s Quest games. If you want to go even more old school, there’s Hugo’s House of Horrors and the good ol’ command prompted Quest For Glory games.

I could totally nerd out on everyone right here right now, but I digress.

hazelnutmegan – I hadn’t until now, but it has its own Wikipedia page and you can play Kingdom of Kroz at classicdosgames.com. Man, it’s tricky! Monsters everywhere!

Pravit – Isn’t that great? I’d send him a thank you card if I thought he still lived there. This same Nels Anderson dude programmed Shooting Gallery, which was a fun game back when I could get the cursor to work properly.
