I know a little boy who had 8 cavities on his first trip to the dentist. looks like the apple hasn’t fallen too far from the tree! Maybe show him some pictures of tooth decay, that always scares me straight.

Will someone PLEASE put this on giant billboards in Bloomington!? I’ve never seen so many dirty hippies, crustpunks, rikers, hipsters, and just plain lazy college students in my entire life! I guess that’s the price I pay to live in a happenin’ college town, but it often forces me to make a hasty exit from small stores an the library. I’m supremely grossed out by the knowledge that when I smell B.O., I’m actually INHALING tiny particles of it! Eew!

It was worse when I was a hairstylist, I don’t actually have to touch greasy dandruffy heads anymore…

mum – Agreed. A nice slab of fragrant soap makes the world go ’round.

Jacob – Bad breath definitely counts; no point in being beautiful if one’s breath scares the babes away.

Redd – Oh no! Pin him down and brush his teeth, or they’ll rot and you’ll have to pay to have them pulled out. Because I was careless as a child, I’m missing three teeth now.

My 8-year-old seems to think that good dental hygiene is something of a trivial matter. He’ll come out of his room dressed nice, hair brushed and all that. Then He’ll laugh at a joke and all the wallpaper in the living room will fall right off the walls.

and it’s amazing how something as thriftily priced as a bar of ordinary soap can make you feel like a million bucks! Especially if used on a looooong soaky bath.

Sierra – Agreed! Back when I was a young’un, my big sister taught me that it doesn’t matter HOW good you look if you smell so bad that no one can stand your presence.

there’s a lot of truth in that. Not that the other stuff doesn’t matter at all, but if the basics aren’t covered, well, you can’t really compensate by draping it with furs and rocks!
