Everywhere I go, girls are chattering about certain teenybopper vampires and warewolves.
Sorry, unnamed sexist over-hyped book/film series, but I only have eyes for one brooding, sensual, vaguely menacing older man with famous fangs:

He even likes babies.

yes… babies… I like them, too… especially when fried in butter… mmm….

Just got back from seeing “New Moon” myself — since Lora watched Transformers 2 I owed her one. Not many guys in the theater, I must say.
The movie didn’t suck — it was entertaining. But I don’t get the devotion. I’m not a huge Harry Potter fan, but I think I “get” why people are so in love with it. But Twilight is a mystery to me.

Jacob, I suspect that Twilight devotion will never make sense to you because you aren’t head over heels for either of the male leads.
Just a guess.

Men who like babies are so inexplicable hot and cute! =)

Redd, you’re probably right, but I guess I’m Team Edward by default since my wife is. And, yes, there were girls and women wearing shirts declaring which “team” they’re on at the movie, but thankfully she wasn’t one of them.

Adderall Apocalypse – See the way I’m not censoring you? Are you impressed?
Jacob – My guess is that—
Redd – …Yep, that was my guess.
Smiley Woman – Yes! There is nothing on earth sexier than a happy man carrying a happy baby.
Jacob – I hear people shouting Edward’s virtues all the time, but I never hear a word about Jacob. Why is that?

Oooohhh! David Bowie, sigh…he not only likes babies, he HAS babies. What could be nicer?

NEVER EVER EVER EVER watch the David Bowie movie “The Man Who Fell To Earth”. It will forever ruin anything David Bowie. I’m just now getting over the the bow-shock I experienced when I watched that movie about 4 months ago.
I’m leaving it at that.

Mum – Instant family, just add matrimony!
Jay – Ming warned me about TMWFTE, but it was too late! Mom, Rach, and I all tried to watch it years ago— happily, we fled in terror before things got TOO graphic. I’m sorry about your eyeballs.

This is a good time to think about puppies. Awww, puppies!

Have you seen Bowie in “The Hunger”? That was my vampire movie of choice when I was a teen. I still love “Labyrinth” and the soundtrack!

Adding The Hunger to must-see movie list. Thank you Johanna!

HAHA! That picture is hysterical.
